Measured against
the competition.

Every figure below comes from side-by-side plot comparisons where a Pioneer® product was grown against a competitor product in the same field. Yield advantage is the average bushels per acre in the Pioneer product's favour; win rate is how often the Pioneer product came out ahead. The number of comparisons behind each figure is shown with it.

How these numbers are calculated

  • Only comparisons against a competitor product are counted. Pioneer-against-Pioneer comparisons are excluded: they make up most of the raw file and, being symmetric, average out to no advantage, which would say nothing about how the products perform against the competition.
  • Figures are shown at the crop level rather than per hybrid. Results are reported against specific trait versions of a hybrid, which do not all match the versions in our current lineup, so a per-hybrid figure could be read against the wrong product.
  • Plot results vary with season, soil and management. They indicate how products have performed in past trials and are not a prediction of results on any individual field.
