Who we are
A used pickup,
a rented shed,
and a dream.
Brian Schoonjans grew up on a family hog farm in Plympton Township, graduated Ridgetown College in 1992, and started his Pioneer® agency in 1998 with what he had: a truck, a rented shed, and a deep belief that real agronomic service beats a sales pitch every time.
Today Bgrow Inc. operates a 150-acre farm, a 6,000 sq. ft. warehouse, multiple bulk seed bins, and a custom seed treatment line installed in 2025. Brian's sons Jake and Evan now lead agronomy and logistics — the next generation already in the field.
